A Meal at Teppan-yaki Kurita
After a hectic arrival at Narita Airport, I was starving. I needed food fast! I hoped I could find something halal to eat.
Traditional Yakisoba Fried Noodles
As I walked into Teppan-yaki Kurita, the delicious smells immediately hit me. I ordered the Traditional Yakisoba Fried Noodles, which looked amazing when it arrived. The noodles were stir-fried perfectly with colourful vegetables and a tasty sauce.
Each bite was a burst of flavour, and I loved the chewy texture of the noodles. But I was still a bit worried about whether it was HALAL.
Wagyu Yakisoba Fried Noodles
When I wondered, the chef came over with a warm smile. She prepared my dish with egg and shrimp instead of pork, which I appreciated.
As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't help but think about how wonderful it would be to have Wagyu Yakisoba Fried Noodles on the menu. The rich taste of Wagyu beef would make this dish even more special.
As I finished, I felt happy and satisfied. I left with a request: * Please add HALAL Wagyu beef to your menu*. That would make a great meal even better. I can’t wait to return and try more delicious dishes at...

ATMOSPHERE: Located in the multifarious food court of NRT, they’re a takeaway counter. Seating is food court-style communal.
FOOD: Teriyaki Chicken Set The set included tender BBQ chicken drizzled with a sweet-savory teriyaki sauce over a bed of onions on a sizzling platter, scoop of mashed potatoes, savory miso soup, steamed rice and a soft drink. The Wagyu beef was not as high quality as I had hoped, unfortunately. My jaws still got a bit of a workout, so it wasn't as tender as advertised.
If you have priority pass, settle with that meal. And if you want to heat Wagyu in an airport transit terminal, adjust your expectations...
