Kani Kani Land Niigata store — Restaurant in Niigata

Got burned! Posting this is just to have everyone who’s going there to be extreme cautious. Went there yesterday for dinner, everything was perfect the food the place! However me and my friend both got burned on fingers really bad because the staff didn’t warn us at all. The crab was just off the grill, super hot but we didn’t know. After I burned the staff didn’t even care to ask if am ok. I had to ask her if they have any first aid care. She said no and brought me a cold towel that’s it. When I wanted to speak to there manager she pretended like she didn’t understand. Called the store afterwards the manager apologized and said the staff didn’t tell anyone about the accident. Just hope everyone who’s going there don’t get burned....

On 19 Jan 2025, my wife and our younger daughter took me here for a crab lunch. The eating atmosphere was elegant. We ordered one Yen3300 set and two Y4400 sets. We got great value for money.

2022.2下旬 私、基本的に蟹に興味がありません。コスパが良い食べ物と思え無いので。足が1本無くて安いとかならたまに食べますが。

今回は、10%OFFの優待券を頂いたので、土曜日の13時過ぎのランチで伺いました。店内は、左手に焼き場、調理場を見ながら、右手に 蟹の生け簀を通り越すと、恐らく、全て個室の設えになっている部屋に通されます。案内、接客は、ほぼ学生アルバイトさんだと思います。

私は、カニクリームコロッケ定食、連れは、かにちらし寿司セット(Cセット)を注文。待ちの間、お品書き、ドリンクメニューを。お品書きは、地元民としては、特に目を引く物は無く、、、。ドリンクメニューは、ワインリストが充実していました。(入口直ぐにワインセラーありました)

およそ10分程で、ちらし着。一般的なちらしの桶より小さめの丼。まぁ~女性なら足りるとは思いますが、、、。

約5分後で定食着。定食着の際は、男子学生アルバイトさんらしき接客から、「お味噌汁お代わりできます」と、、、。普通、ご飯と味噌汁お代わり可じゃないの？と、、、。この時は、釜飯やちらしとの兼ね合いで、ご飯のお代わりが無いのかと思いましたが。(後で、ランチメニュー見直したら、最下部に両方可の記載ありでした) カニクリームコロッケ2個の定食を見て、即、単品で2個注文。分かってはいましたが、小ぶりな俵型コロッケを見て2個では足りないと。 (頭の中は、ご飯のお代わりは無いと思っているので)

ちらしは、蟹の甲羅、ハサミで見栄えは良いですが、、、。 定食は、クリームコロッケ3個だったら、、、。

かつて、新潟市にも、かに道〇がありましたが、ビル解体と共に撤退。蟹に需要があったならば、移転してでも新潟店が現在でもあると思うのですが、、、。やはり、庶民には近寄り難いお店、新潟駅近く、お品書き、ドリンクメニューの構成からも、余裕のある方、社用、接待のお店なのではと思います。自分の周りで、蟹を食べたいと思う様な方は、行きつけのお店で予約して食べるスタイルが多いと思います。

お会計を済ませ、店を後にしようとすると、和服女性のお二人に見送られてしまい、早々にお店を後に致しました。...
