A sushi restaurant where U can enjoy fresh seafood from Niigata. Seven types of sushi are offered as a lunch course, and prices vary depending on the toppings. Although the difference is about 1,500 yen, the more expensive course is more satisfying. The seasoning of sushi rice is wonderful, so all the ingredients are delicious, but the boiled conger eel, grouper, salmon roe, Nanban shrimp, and horse mackerel are especially delicious. ! Simply amazing! Let the the Taisho (chef) pick your fish. Ours was friendly and because it was fairly slow, spent some time to show me which fish we were eating in a book. Order the Hakkaisan sake. You will...

バスセンターのカレーに鶏の半身揚げと、ジャンクフードを食べまくった新潟観光の締めくくりに、一回ぐらいはそうでないものを食べておくかと立ち寄ったのがこちらのお店です。看板が小さく、Google map を見ながらでも「あれ、どこ？」となりますが、上品と言えば上品です。 お酒をいただきながらとなればランチタイムでも普通に一万円札が飛んでいきますが、味、雰囲気、サービスを勘案するなら、東京のお店よりはニ～三割はお得な感じです。 職人さんも熟練で、細かな気遣いにも関心させられました。 一食当たりの費用はバスセンターのカレーのおよそ二〇倍、価格あたりの満足度では太刀打ちできないものの、そもそも五〇代ぼっちの観光客が二〇杯のカレーを食せるわけがありません。学生さんとか小さなお子さん連れの御夫婦には厳しい価格ですが、限られた時間の中でちょっとした贅沢を味わうには良いお店だと思います。
