Dairy-free (VEGAN) milk alternatives available here! Not many coffee shops in Nikko seem to have, so this place was a nice find. The soy milk latte was great, the black drip coffee with regular dairy creamer was also good. In addition to coffee, they do sell pastries, although they are not vegan or gluten free. The store also sells a variety of Japanese goods including stationary, cloth napkins, jewelry, yuzu (Japanese citrus) preserves, mugs, and more. Staff very friendly. There are tables and benches outside to enjoy your coffee....

We went in to get food. They told us it would be 15 minutes. We were super excited because we were looking for somewhere to eat inside we sat down. After a while she came with our food and to go containers and told us we could only take it out. She never mentioned before that we could only take it out. We know the Japanese, お持ち帰りだけ, It would’ve been very easy for her to tell us we could only eat out. So now we unexpectedly have to eat in the cold...

Staff was not that friendly but the shaved ice was delicious! We got yuzu and it was really good. The cola was interesting, very spiced. Depends if you like traditional tasting cola or not, definitely...
