さち福や CAFÉ さんすて岡山店 — Restaurant in Okayama

I came here for lunch because I was starving on a really busy weekday right around noon. Even thought the restaurant was almost full, I was seated immediately at the counter section on the right side of the entrance because I was by myself. They have a container under the table/chair for your bag.

The service was excellent and very prompt. The employees here are very hard working and their attention to detail is perfect. I ordered within a couple minutes of being seated and my food arrived within less than five minutes. It was also very hot and fresh, which I very much appreciate!

The side dishes were excellent, the miso soup had great flavor, and I thought the rice was just the right amount. My karaage chicken was extra crispy on the outside and very juicy when I bit into it on the inside. I ate my meal in less than five minutes because it was so tasty!

I felt that this restaurant was an excellent value for what I ordered. The service was outstanding, the employees were all very friendly, and I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in the area. Gochisousama Deshita!

Edit: I came back here again in early February 2024 on my last recent trip and had the ebi fry teishoku. It was after the lunch rush so it wasn't crowded, but I still had a great experience. The service is excellent, the food is prepared quickly, and it is served hot. Most importantly, the quality of the food had not changed since my first visit. Came across this place as we were in search of somewhere to have dinner. It's so convenient to have a bunch of restaurants in the train station. Plenty of seating from booths to solo diners. I got the set with fried chicken, lightly fried vegetable and my brother tried the yuzu miso broiled chicken set. It was a lot of food and worth it the price. Taste wise it was just okay, as long as you leave full. They also have a display case of their popular food items...

定例の週初め会議を終えてランチに訪れたのはさんすて岡山一階にある「さち福や」さん、各種定食をラインナップされていますので昼時はビジネスマンの方が多いですね！

正午頃で7割程度席が埋まっています、おひとり様なので通路側のカウンター席に案内頂きます。その後15分ほどで満席になりました。

注文は「鶏のこんがり黄金唐揚と温野菜のねぎ香味うまだれ定食（1280円）」．．．長い名称っすね、全部読むのが辛い長さです^^;　待つこと10分ほどで配膳、ご飯は十五穀米を選択です。

大きなサイズの鶏唐が4個、その上に甘めの野菜餡がしっかり、下にはレタスで横にはフライドポテト．．．駅構内のランチはボリュームないことが多いですがこちらはしっかり量がありますね(^^)　小鉢やポテサラもしっかりした内容で満足度の高いランチになりました。
