Hashiya — Restaurant in Okayama

A teishoku restaurant at the basement building near the Okayama station. I had to wait a while before I come in, around 15 to 20 minutes. They claim to prepare set meals with the fresh vegetables they have on hand. I ordered their demiglace katsudon meal which you can upsize. This was wrong on my part since they offer unlimited rice and miso soup. But the food was good, and the service is better...

Fast service. The dish came quite rapidly.

Food tastes good, good value for money. Definitely better and healthier than the junk food from chains I won t mention here.

It also has a wide choice of Japanese dishes. I would recommend ordering teishoku since you will have tastes of Japanese standards dishes : pickles, miso soup, and many others small dishes to accompany...
