A little taste of something familiar to Europeans with a Japanese twist!
We had no set plans for dinner and the restaurant we were hunting for was shut so we chanced by this place, had no idea about it but I had a good feeling so in we went, and I was right!
The staff are all lovely, one young woman serving spoke excellent English so I didn't have to subject anyone to my poor Japanese skills so that's a plus for foreigners, plus there's an English menu which always helps!
We went for a set course which was so reasonably priced I'd say it was too cheap! Less than ยฅ9000 including cocktails! The food was all so good! There was one dish that was served with a raw prawn, I'm aware that this is not uncommon in Japan but a bit too far for us foreigners so we didn't have it, not a criticism at all, just a heads up for future patrons. The food really is fabulous so please don't let that tiny detail put you off.
Overall a wonderful Friday night meal and one I'd happily repeat if only we had more time! A beautiful final night in this...
