We visited Aokiji @ dinner time 7:30pm Monday! Even had time to Google translate their menu for a bit not worrying about customers waiting to order. Friendly gentlemen took our order (ticket meal) and did it effortlessly with my simple request, arigato! Chinese noodles for him and Garlic Ramen for her! No seabura for me though. I highlycommend the chefs here because they know what they’re doing! Broth, flavorful! Noodles/Men- depending on your order noodle cut will change. Love this! Chashu 10/10! So silky tender, braised beautifully, melts in your mouth! Umami and a good balance of fat and meat! Wow! The egg! Bouncy just by the touch of my chopsticks! A huge star on any ramen bowl and this ramen spot, SERVED just that! Based on many reviews here, wait time can be long. We walked right in. But when we were done with our bowl of heaven there were at least 6 people outside waiting. Mind you there are roughly 10 bar seats! Next time we will try the Tsukumen!

My favorite ramen spot close to Hansen.

The Tsukemen was my favorite. Real thick and chewy. Very strong broth, which I love. The garlic ramen is also great.

The garlic flavor is deceptively not as strong as you’d think.

Definitely show up with an empty stomach if you’re gonna order the large bowl. Huge serving for the price. A lot of noodles with minimal meat. Awesome...

こどもの国に行こう！となり、腹ごしらえを考えてマークしてたアオキジさんへ🍜決定が11時だったので、すぐに向かいました。開店前はのれんものぼりもでてないので通り過ぎて、Uターン！駐車場は既にいっぱい。並んでる！知り合いの駐車場に停めさせてもらって歩くとすでに三人待ってました。11時半定刻通り開店。食券を買います。私は東京背脂、息子はつけめん、主人はにんにく。 開店と同時に満席、からの来るわ、来るわのお客さん。あっという間に待ちのお客さんで店前は賑やかに。「早く来てよかった〜」 そしてラーメン到着🍜丼に並々とラーメン、茶色のスープの真ん中に黄身！徳島ラーメンをも彷彿とさせるビジュアル。レアチャーシュー！期待大のルックスです。そして主人のにんにくラーメン。二郎系に見えますが、やはりレアチャーシューが上品に見せますね。息子のつけめん到着、麺がツヤツヤ！ さてさて、実食。スープから。コクと甘みがあって、めーちゃくちゃ美味しい。細麺を選択したのですが、すこーし柔らかめ。固さ指定すれば良かったと思ったけど、逆にスープによく絡み、美味しい。深みとコクのあるスープのまま食べ進め、半分のところで黄身破壊。やはり徳島のあの感じに一瞬似てる。あー、でもあれかな、私は黄身は無くてもいいかも。まろやかさがマシマシになり、パンチが当然抑えられてしまった。でも、とっても美味しいけど。レアチャーシューはしっとり、プリっと最高。 息子のつけめん、ぎっちり魚介。魚粉の粉っぽさこそないものの、魚感マックス。私は我流の方が好きかな。息子はぎっちり魚介ダシ派なので、大喜び。そして主人のにんにくのやつ。うまみ！すごい！にんにく！すごい！！！ってかちょっとやり過ぎじゃない？笑...
