I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic shabu-shabu restaurant in Okinawa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The quality of the ingredients truly stood out. The fresh vegetables, especially the seaweed and mushrooms, added a unique Okinawan twist to the traditional hotpot. The broth was light yet flavorful, perfectly complementing the tender cuts of meat.

The fried pork cutlet was another highlight—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, paired beautifully with the refreshing shredded cabbage and tangy dressing.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Onna. We were staying in Moon Beach and we’re curious on trying the famous tonkatsu.

After getting there on a weekday, the restaurant was full but they were able to get us a table, which was great!

We had the shabu-shabu which was really good and the tonkatsu which was also great and crispy as you would expect.

The service was also pretty competent and the waiter was really nice and explained to us how to properly cook the shabu shabu and which sauces we should eat for each dish.

Note: There’s also free appetizers, which was a great plus!
