My theory after eating here and reading the reviews is that the best thing at this restaurant is their tomato-based sauce. And when I say it’s the “best thing,” I’m not trying to sneakily imply that anything else is bad, or that the tomato sauce is okay but is only technically “the best.” I just want to stress that the tomato sauce was INCREDIBLE.
We got the Margherita pizza and “mozzarella cheese and tomato spaghetti” (quoting the full dish name for clarity) and they were so good. When some Instagram foodie talks about “the brightness of the tomatoes” or whatever, I usually just shrug it off, but I genuinely left this restaurant talking like that. I might just be from a place where fresh tomatoes are scarce, but this meal really blew us away almost entirely because of the sauces.
