A lovely coffee shop with only three tables inside. I felt a bit rushed because there was a line waiting for a table but beside that, everything was great. The whole place was so cutesy with soothing music in the background, it made the whole place so comfortable. The food was tasty. Although a bit expensive for tea and coffee, the drinks were pretty strong which was enjoyable. The banana bread smelled wonderful as it was served and the flavours were just as good. I really like how it is not too sweet compared to some other bakeries. The service was superb. The waitress, who seemed to be the owner, was pleasant, friendly and cheery. A hidden gem near Onomichi JR - a must-visit for coffee lovers! A short walk from the station, Esquina offers a cosy and inviting atmosphere with natural light and warm tones. Perfect for a relaxing breakfast or coffee break. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. English menus, Wi-Fi, and credit card payment options make the cafe traveler-friendly. I loved my breakfast here. The scone was perfect - crispy outside, soft inside, and incredibly flavorful. The coffee was perfectly brewed and tasted fantastic even without sugar or milk. really enjoyed the soup of the day, which was creamy and apparently made with leftover sake remnants? not sure lol. it had sausage and veggies in it.

the breakfast plate was made with high quality ingredients, it had cream, strawberry, kumquat, yogurt with granola, an egg with salt on the side, and a fresh scone that was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
