We went there around one hour before closing time on a sunday & were so lucky as to have the place almost to ourselves.
This tea store really is a gem. It seems to have been there for a long time but it was refurbished a while ago. There are two floors, the Upper one is a tatami room with a beautiful view on the seaside of Onomichi.
We ordered 5 different hot and cold teas all of which tasted delicious. The lady who served us was friendly, explained the different tea varieties & showed us how to prepare them.

They also sell their teas to take home, which is perfect if you find one you love. The shop was quiet and empty when I visited, so I had the whole space to myself—a peaceful and relaxing experience.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys slow, mindful tea drinking.
