The place is not trying to be overly bright and flashy, just one of your local family-owned gems near the station. Nice if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis that is Osaka.

I believe the people who work there are actually Thai (sorry if I'm wrong), so you're in for an authentic experience. The food was absolutely exquisite; it actually tasted like something that would come from the real place and not some Japanese fusion cuisine. They've even got the long grain Thai jasmine rice, which may explain why a portion of it costs half a thousand yen. Worth it though! Also worth burning your mouth to soot, 'cause they ain't joking with the spice level.

The staff are nice, and they've got the place well decorated, adding a whole lot of character that I dearly miss from a lot of fast food chains. Definitely...

The food was just ok, nothing special. Our local mall has way better Thai food. I ordered the Gapao and asked for regular hot, as Gapao is usually very spicy. The chief forgot to put any spice at all in it I guess. It just tasted super salty. I also got the spring rolls, which had very little flavor and the sweet chili sauce had no chili in it…..just sugar syrup. I had add dried chili to it. I got PadThai to go and to eat later, not expecting much.

Edit: the PadThai I ate as a midnight snack while watching an F1 race. Ok, so that was really tasty. Maybe cause I was expecting it to be bad, lol.

京橋駅から徒歩数分、裏通りとでも申しましょうか、繁華街とは逆サイドにございます本格タイ料理屋さんです。タイ人スタッフの方がいつもにこやかに出迎えてくださいます。

ランチで何度か伺っております。メニューに辛さは唐辛子のマークで表記されており、本数によって辛さの度合いが変わってくる模様です。私はまだグリーンカレーやトムヤンクン等唐辛子1本までしか挑戦しておりませんが、辛さにそこまで耐性のない私でも美味しくいただける爽やかな辛みです。さらにメニューに『辛いのは苦手な方は言ってください』と書いてくださっているので、本数の多いメニューでも何らかの対応をしていただけるのかも知れません。。

ランチメニューにはタイ料理の定番である品々が並んでおりますが、それぞれにMサイズ、Lサイズがございます(一部メニュー除く)。お腹ペコペコでとりあえずいっぱい食べなくては。。と切羽詰まっていた折りにLサイズをお願いしてみたのですが、まさにlargeサイズ。わーこれはこれは。えーと。。食べきれるかな。。と少々怖じ気づいてしまうサイズ感でした笑。初めての方や、お腹八分で抑えたいタイプの方は、まずMサイズから挑戦された方が良いかもしれません。何とか食べきりましたが、午後のお仕事に少々差し支えてしまう程お腹いっぱいになりました笑。

そして肝心のお味ですが、何をいただいてもいただきやすい！香草等お好みが出そうなものも、使用はされているのですが、あくまでもアクセントといった風合いです。辛さも上記のとおり分かりやすく記載してくださっておりますし、トムヤンクン(唐辛子1)などは、出てきたときにその真っ赤な容貌に、何て辛そうな。。とドキドキさせられましたが、いざいただいてみると、なんて爽やか！コクもしっかり感じられるのにスッキリした後口！いくらでも飲めてしまう！と、言うことで私のイチオシはトムヤンクンです笑(どれも美味しいのですが。。)。

ただランチメニューにメインとしてはトムヤンクンはございません。しかしながらランチについてくるスープを￥300でトムヤンクンに変更が可能ですので、是非...
