It's rare to stay in a hotel for it's opening night, but it's a fun time being the first one ever to stay in the room, sleep in the bed, use the shower, etc.. I've had two such recent experiences, with one being Via Inn. The best thing about this hotel is probably the location. It's right there at Kyobashi eki (station), giving you quick access to the Loop Line. You can be in Umeda or Osaka Castle in mins. Keihan Mall is also right there, a few mins walk. As for the hotel itself, the lobby is very stylish and well appointed, as you can see from the pics. The hotel itself is pretty large with quite a few rooms on each floor. There weren't many people staying there that first night, but as is the norm for Japanese thinking, they crowded everyone next to each other on one floor. ||||The front desk people were nice and helpful. I'm not sure if they speak English or not, as I spoke (my terrible) Japanese. But I suspect that there might be a person or two who does. Osaka hotels are pretty good at having some English speaking staff. ||||The room? It was just fine. Non-descript, but perfectly fine. The bed was really firm and comfy and you'll sleep well, I'm sure. Breakfast was included, but it's at a sperate venue which you can get to without going outside. The issue is that since that café serves the public, they can run out of things quickly. I went pretty early for my breakfast and they were already sold out of my first two choices. Hopefully, they'll make some changes, because it's not a good setup now. BUT, there's also a convenience store right there, which was so...convenient (great for late night snacking).||||Overall, if you want a hotel that's not in the center of Umeda, this is a pretty good choice. It's clean and convenient, and a pretty good bargain. ...
Read moreI had a really great stay here for 4 nights. The room is spacious, well organised and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The room has its own bathtub and there is also a public bath on the 11th floor. The AC vent outlet might need a bit of cleaning but the room has an air purifier. I could hear the noise of the Tozai line trains from my room but it was soft and didn't affect my sleep. The location is good too as it has a 7-11 in the same building and close to Keihan, JR and Metro lines with covered footbridge. It's also close to Osaka Business Park and Osaka-Jo.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. For foreigners who can't speak Japanese, many of the staff don't speak English so get your translation app ready. But most of the customers here are Japanese so that makes sense.
Also the ViaInn membership is a great bonus and I love that you can checkout until 12 with...

I really enjoyed my stay! The location was fantastic, and the breakfast at the café exceeded expectations—especially the wide variety of fresh salads and open-faced sandwiches, which were even better than what I’ve had at some big-name hotel chains. The room was modern, well-sized for solo occupancy, and came with a clean, functional bath.
My only suggestions would be to improve the friendliness and approachability of the front desk staff when speaking English as well as the WiFi could be better. I understand the hotel primarily caters to a Japanese clientele, but a warmer reception would enhance the overall experience.
That said, I appreciate the overall quality—please keep up...
