Definitely one of the best cruises in Osaka! The ticket office is cool and well laid out, you can sit inside and try their special icecream/yogurt while waiting for the ride. The staff are very nice and helpful. The boat itself is quite low which is actually quite good for the ride, you get a feeling of close to the water and the boat could go through many bridges. The environment on the boat is very pleasant, air-conditioned, clean and neat. You have your seat assigned when purchasing the ticket so no need to line up early. Music was played during the ride and quite relaxing music and not too loud. The ride was about 40 minutes but because it operated on a moderate speed so it actually covered quite a bit distance. You can see Osaka truly a water city because the ride gave you a chance to go under many bridges on the river and see the different structures they have depending year built, length and usages etc. You could also see Osaka people going about with their lives on the river banks, walking the dog, chatting with friends or having a meal at one of the restaurants on river banks. You could also get a glimpse of wild life if you are lucky. Really loved the experience and definitely a strong...

Activity: I took the boat ride from Osakajo pier to Yodoyabashi pier on the Okawa River.
Good: • Great scenery and many scenic views for photo-taking. • Even better scenery during flower blooming time. • It passes by Nakanoshima Rose Garden. • The boat is air-conditioned.
Bad: • The boat doesn't allow a 360° videocam view due to its structure. • The seats are reserved. So, if you are unlucky and seated not near the windows, then you won't be able to take nice photos of the scenery.
Comments: • This is a boat ride which brings you, in a round trip between Osakaji pier, Yodoyabashi pier, Hachiken-yahama pier and OAP pier. • It's cheaper if you disembark at an earlier pier. • It's free if you have the Osaka Amazing Pass. •If not, you can pay cash at an Aqualiner booth at all the piers. Ticket with seat number will be given. • A round trip takes about 60 mins.
Overall: • It's an enjoyable ride! Worth it especially during Spring time. Round trip is more expensive, so you may want to...
Read moreNOT RECOMENDED FOR TOURIST!! ESPECIALLY THE ONES USING OSAKA AMAZING PASS! I ASKED WHETHER THE BOAT OPERATING OR NOT WHEN IT WAS RAINING BUT THE STAFFS WERE RUDE AND NOT INFORMATIVE AT ALL. WHEN WE FIRST ASKED, THEY ANSWERED IN A WAY LIKE THE BOAT NOT WORKING SO WE CAN'T RIDE THE BOAT. THEY EXPLAINED LAZILY TO US, WE DIDN'T KNOW THE PASS SHOULD BE EXCHANGED TO TICKETS UNTIL WE LINED UP AT THE DECK. SO WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE COUNTER BUT THEY SAID WE CAN'T EXCHANGE THE TICKETS COZ THE BOAT ALREADY GONE?!!! CLEARLY THE STAFFS DIDN'T WANT US TO RIDE THE BOAT SO THEY TREATED US HORRIBLY. THE STAFFS WORKING AT MAY 7TH 2023 SHOULD BE REPRIMANDED FOR THEIR ATTITUDE...
