Dynamic Kitchen & Bar SUN Osaka — Restaurant in Osaka

Horrible service! At the beginning we only wanted to have a drink because we wanted to eat later. The waitress gave us the night menu that looked so good. So we took one menu for two. The waitress then brought a tray with some small dishes that looked very good too, but different from the one that we ordered. At the beginning she translated in english on her phone that it was a " table charge", then a "table fee", because we have ordered one menu. It was very difficult to understand her. It took 10minutes at least. At one point she finally told us that " this appetizer is served to all the customers". She also told us that it was included with the drinks. Ah OK! And it's when we finally understood each other... that she took the tray back and never brought it again! We never ate the appetizers, even if it was supposed to be included. And then the waitress served the menu very very very coldly. So the view is great, the meals are good, the drinks are ok ( the wine is not so good, but well i'm french so not so objective ^^), but i've never seen the fact that somebody explains to you that you have the right to something...and just after remove it from you so rudely! We had a true 5-star experience at this restaurant. We went our first night in Osaka and we are so glad we spent it here. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and helped us out so much with recommendations and explanations of the menu. The food was expertly cooked and delicious. We got a variety of dishes, from corn tempura to katsu to sushi, and we enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the city views were enchanting at night, but what stood out the most was the incredible teamwork by the staff. Every single person worked hard to create a positive experience for us, even when our Japanese wasn’t quite up to par. And if that weren’t enough, the prices are very reasonable. But back to the quality of service; it is seriously some of the best we’ve experienced in Japan. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you...

We had a lovely group dinner with our bus tour group in the Dynamic Kitchen and Bar with its gorgeous city views of Osaka from its 27th floor setting. It is tastefully decorated, had helpful, attentive staff and the food was excellent as well. It was mostly traditional Japanese fare, with sashimi, lovely sliced beef, tempura, tofu, etc. We had a set course, seven course meal.

My wife had the whisky which she loved and I had the hot sake, which was lovely. We tried the cold sake as well, which was also really nice. There were multiple fellow traveller’s with us with food restrictions and they had separate dishes prepared just for them. The orange sorbet to finish was absolutely stunning! A very nice restaurant and bar to enjoy the city...
