Yes, it's a little pricey - but the food here includes authentic Italian, wood fired pizza - and specials that fuse Japanese ingredients with Italian flavors.

On a recent visit, my dining partner and I enjoyed the Italian Green Salad which included a generous helping of Prosciutto - the Sea Urchin and Cheese Omelet - a daily special feature of Firefly Squid Genovese - and a Pizza Melanzana.

The omelet was quite unique with the rich flavors of Uni, egg and mozzarella blending quite well. All of them being subtle flavor profiles, I expected the Uni to get lost - but it was present in a non overpowering way. Firefly Squid is usually served in Japan with a Miso sauce - but here it was paired with bamboo shoots and a pesto sauce. It was surprisingly fresh tasting with the Squid taking the forward flavor and the pesto following very nicely. The pizza was among the best I've had in Japan - with a spicy tomato sauce and bits of sausage peppered among the nice chunks of eggplant. The crust is where pizza starts, and this was a really tasty crust that was wood fired like authentic Italian pizza should be.

We shared a bottle of Italian table red wine - and the price point on all the wines was quite fair - our bottle was 1800¥, and they ran up to 8000¥ for a Barolo.

Menu is available in English - although the daily specials menu handed to us was only Japanese.

Service was very slow ! They keep you starving, then they come up with the smallest portion, we ordered extra food because of the small portions, but the waiting time between every dish we ordered was between 15 to 20 mints! Unacceptable! Food tast was ok. Make sure to make a reservation before you go, otherwise you will never be accepted even if the place is empty! Staff are nice but they don’t give you alternatives when you ask for non ham food, they just say no without offering other choices, so you better ask about every...

No worries, Italian cuisine still tastes better. The dishes are nicely marketed but not really Italian while compromises are made on ingredients and preparations are made that miss out on a better standard. The Pizza dough recipe seems not ok, every of the four ones I had during different dates were mushy soft in the middle, not crusty at all. The appetizers only give a shy glance on Italian possibilities and the salads are even less. Overall a nice try with a great Pizza oven that certainly would...
