Maybe food in the Harry Potter universe is not very flavorful and they were trying to be the most authentic they could be, because this food truly has no flavor. I can't even say that the taste of the food was bad because there simply was no taste. On top of that, the vegetables were pretty much all overcooked and the meat my friends had was dry as well. The soup I got was alright but everything else was remarkably forgettable. I still think it deserves 2 stars though since ordering was fast and the interior decoration is pretty cool. As someone with gluten and lactose allergies (and who prefers not to eat meat if possible) I was pleasantly surprised that they had a separate allergy menu when I asked about it. I was prepared not to eat anything and I was able to! For theme park food, it was pretty good! A bit bland, and no protein, but it did the job :) and you could sit outside with a great view of the castle! (My recommendation for Universal is to bring allergy friendly snacks!)

Side note: I looked it up and butter beer is gluten free but the foam on top seemed like it could be dairy so bring lactaid if...

Gravy Sauce tasted literally burned, all the Vegetables overcooked, Chicken and Sausages overcooked as well. Green Peas were ofc also overcooked and swimming in some sort of water?? Sausages were also tasteless. Charging for all that 2200 Yen per Person, ridiculous in my opinion.

They have those ridiculous high walls of plastic on all tables because of Corona. Just weird i dont see them alot in other restaurants anymore. But thats in all of USJ like that..

Its what to expect tho in a themepark, but maybe waste your money in another...
