One of the more unique ramen shops that I have visited for a while. On the outside it looks like a conspicuous shop with the pillars blocking the interior. But when I went there, there was a line. Outside too was the menu and the meal ticket counter so you should decide on what to eat and pay before going in. Inside the interior looks like a cozy bar. On a side note, I found the one-time-use shibori very colorful and high quality. I was seated by the counter side so I could see my food being made by the chefs there. I ordered the tsukemen with the niku sushi just to try it out. Before the tsukemen has finished cooking, one of the chefs handed me this card which describes the ingredients used. When the bowl came, I was particularly impressed with the fanciness of the bowl and the utensils. For the actual tsukemen, I noticed two things. First, the normal noodle is firm when eaten, but there was a konbu-like dollop below it and if you mix it with the noodles the texture becomes somewhat stickier and slimier. I didn't notice it at first but it's better that way because I'm personally not a fan of slimy stuff on tsukemen. The other one is that the menma is cut to have two shapes, circle and triangle as homage to their name. There are other things on the side plate to change taste such as chicken and sea bream, as well as cooked oyster bits in oil and ume jelly. The ume jelly seemed off with the bowl but I like all the other ones. The niku sushi, however was probably the best I've eaten for months now. To think I've only paid around 1300 yen for all of this feels like a steal to me.
Overall great experience; I wish to try their normal ramen as well in the...
Read moreNo, it’s not just another ramen spot - it’s a unique ramen spot specializing in sea bream. They have 3 main options (that I know of, I believe maybe there was a special going on at the time I was there but I didn’t know how to order it on the vending machine) and each one that we tried was absolutely delicious. There’s a creamy broth option, clear broth option and one that’s a dipping noodle type of ramen. The flavors were absolutely delicious - if you’re not a big fan of fish/fish-like foods, this may not be the best place, and I would suggest you order the dipping noodles or the clear broth - the creamy ramen is the most “fishy”/potent one of them all However, their ramen isn’t fishy, it’s super fresh and the flavors with everything combined is just delicious. The staff and service was all excellent - twice we were there and both times the quality of food as well as service were unwavering. FYI - the vending machine sometimes has a hard time exhanging your bills so you can ask the staff - this happened to us (the lady behind us was so kind and exhanged her money and offered to trade with us so we didn’t have to ask the staff, but we witnessed two other parties that had to ask the staff because the machine wasn’t working properly)
Overall, would definitely recommend and go...

Service was very good - staff, from the waiter to the chef were very friendly, welcoming & helpful.
The interior decor was Japanese zen style & atmosphere was unpretentious. The vibe was clean, cosy & relaxing.
We ordered the creamy sea bream ramen with beef sushi & fish broth rice as sides.
Ramen stood out as one of the most unique, delicious rendition we had. The broth was made of sea bream, kelp and bonito & whisked. It is then topped with onion, fish, pork & chilli powder.
It starts off with a slight fishiness & a burst of unexpected umami. As we continued, the delicate balance of fish flavors with the ingredients stood out. The broth was well balanced in composition & seasoning. Noodles were al dente & ingredients were great.
The beef sushi was pretty decent while the fish broth rice was great. The rice carried a delicate umami flavor that was comforting.
A tip: The ordering machine at the door is mainly in Japanese & cash only. Prior to ordering, do approach the staff inside for an English menu available which you can reference for ordering.
Definitely worth the trip down & a restaurant that we will...
