Matsuya Shin-Osaka Higashiguchi — Restaurant in Osaka

This was close to my hotel and also open pretty late. It isn’t much on looks or flash but you’ll definitely get a great meal for under $10. After you pay for your meal (which is done via machine) you’ll get your meal within minutes. The layout remind me of cafeteria setup, with dividers separating each seat. All your sauces, utensils, etc are available at your table. I choose the pork tonkotsu meal (for 800 yen iirc) with a side of fried shrimp. They also included shredded cabbage and a miso soup. The pork was quite good but thin and the sauce was good. The shrimp was pretty filling and made me full.
