An Unforgettable Family Time at Mipig Cafe Osaka! Review: We recently had an amazing family adventure at Mipig Cafe in Osaka! This unique spot stole our hearts with its adorable tiny residents. We arrived for our pre-booked 10am slot and even though there was a line, the efficiency of the staff ensured that we were seated by 10:05. As first-timers, we chose a 1-hour session, unsure of how quickly the little piggies would warm up to us. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how sociable they were. The cafe thoughtfully sends out instructions beforehand, explaining that the pigs shouldn't be picked up to avoid causing them stress, which we greatly appreciated. The cafe also offers a free drink per person, which was a delightful bonus. We tried their little donuts priced at around ¥650 - absolutely delicious and well worth the price. The staff, super friendly and attentive, brought little pigs to our laps ensuring that everyone got a fair share of snuggles. My son and I were absolutely thrilled to have 4 or 5 little oinkers enjoying our company at one point. My wife, who isn't typically fond of animals, was completely charmed by the pigs and couldn't resist capturing numerous pictures. It's worth noting that for the wonderful experience, we spent less than $60 USD for 3 of us, excluding the donuts. I wholeheartedly recommend Mipig Cafe Osaka to anyone in the area or visiting. It’s a memorable and delightful experience for animal lovers and those just looking for a unique way to spend an hour. A huge thanks to the Mipig team for creating such a heartwarming and memorable family experience!

If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming spot to rest and recharge during your travels, look no further than this lovely little cafe. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as some of the most adorable pigs you've ever seen. The staff at this cafe are incredibly polite and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. But the real stars of the show here are the pigs. These cute little creatures are a sight to behold, with their soft fur and playful personalities. They are always happy to greet visitors, and they seem to love nothing more than snuggling up to their human friends for a cuddle. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a whiff of the pigs' lovely scent. Despite what you might expect, these animals are actually quite clean and odor-free, and they emit a pleasant, earthy aroma that is sure to put a smile on your face. But perhaps the best thing about this cafe is its location. Situated in the heart of a bustling shopping district or near a popular tourist attraction, it's the perfect place to take a break when you're feeling exhausted or overwhelmed. So, if you're in need of a little pick-me-up during your travels, be sure to stop by this charming cafe. With its friendly staff, adorable pigs, and cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing or shopping.

This place could be fun to come once, but surprisingly those piggies are heavier than I first imagined, they are cute but there are way too many restrictions going in: you can't lift them, you can't hug them, you can't stand up (remain seated), you can't walk around, make taking pics of your companion difficult. Basically you are like paralyzed and just sit there and wait for the piggies to come to you, if they don't, you are sitting in an uncomfy cushion burning your time of appointment. Staff wise they are friendly but since they don't speak or understand English at all, makes it difficult to request for help, and they are not very attentive to what happened on the piglets around you, if they are chewing your cushion or blanket. Not to mention they give you are very tiny blanket to cover your thighs, but once a piglet jumped onto you, you know that's useless in covering yourself, so be prepared to get messy and chaotic. They have cutie tiny piglets but dedicated only for private room which costs more, the general admission plus the time there are already hell expensive, so however fun they are offering, one time is enough. There are similar shops in China from the same group, makes me wonder if it would be cheaper and easier to communicate going to that shops instead but like I said this place just come once in a life time you never would wanna come again, unless you have too much money to spend and enjoy being stepped on with a no. of piglets. They asked you to give review on Google, tripadvisor, and Dianping that would deduct ¥100 per review (thanks a lot) and is not per person but an overall deduction so you can make a judgement call how reliable those short reviews are that boost the over score.

Every year I visit Japan, I like to do a animal cafe. This year I wanted to go to the Pig cafe, my husband didn't want to participate this year and was going to go to the card shop on the floor above it while I stayed and enjoy my activity. When I booked, I only booked for myself, when at the door the front desk asked for who and I informed him myself only and he asked if I wanted to upgrade to the private and I said yes. When entering I asked with hand motion and verbal communication if my husband can go and take a pic of me and leave and he said yes it's ok. When entering the private room, I inform them it's still the one, he's only taking picture and leaving. There was a small opening that allowed him to see and take pictures and he was blocked off from the experience. While I played he told me they were charging him full price too eventhough he wasn't part of it and only stood and took pics less than 5 mins. He told me to have fun and left and while I stayed and played the staff kept talking about me and motioning to me making extremely uncomfortable. When my time was up they made me wait in the payment line which last between 10-15 minutes, unknowingly that my husband already paid for me. They also told me that the drink was included and it was self service but never explained when to go so I missed out on that, but that I put under personal error. Once I was outside my husband told me that they put their hands on him and blocked him when he was trying to pay. This experience felt like a scam, they trick us to get a double charge and the fact I know my husband is a respectful man, I know this was out of line and unacceptable. The pig experience itself was cute, the staff is the issue.

Cute pigs but extremely RUDE staff!! Kids UNfriendly!! <<Staff on this photo is extremely rude!!>> She can speak simple English at the beginning. But then everytime she approaches us, she just suddenly grab the pig or remove things from our table without saying anything. Though we don’t speak the same language, facial expressions and body language is international. Its different when the other staff did the same. My kids were scared everytime she’s around, dare not to do anything or move afraid that she’ll come to scold them for nothing. We couldn’t enjoy at all. And the way she handle the pigs was rude too. The room is small. All customers looked at her everytime she grab the little piggies because she’s so rude that made the piggies scared and scream so loudly. <<Food and drink>> Drinks are free. All you can drink with simple coffee tea coke and juices. Staff already explained upon checkin that drinks cannot take away. And they will remind us 5mins before time’s up. Food wise, only donuts available and you have to pay jpy6xx each. I was with 2kids so I bought 3 donuts. We couldnt finish the last one within 1hour. At the end, staff just come clear our table without the 5-min-prior reminder. I was about the wrap the remaining half of the donut. But the staff stopped me saying cannot take away. Alright, then I tried to finish eating right away trying not to waste it. The staff grab it from my hand and said time’s up😨. Drinks are free so not allowed to take-away is a common sense. But I don’t understand why I was not allowed to take the donut I paid for. Except the time spent with cute little piggies, interaction with the staffs was really horrible!!
