We had a fantastic experience eating here for dinner on a weeknight, with several sashimi and sushi on the omakase menu, as well as some other delicious courses - perhaps be ready to get a little experimental if you don't eat a lot of seafood though!
Highly recommended getting seats at the counter, as the chef prepares the sushi and sashimi in front of you, and is more than happy to have a chat and explain each course to you (including how to eat it, if you're unsure!).
The sake is also recommended, as it is very tasty and goes nicely with the food.
The chef is happy to converse with tourists in English with occasional assistance from Google translate, and the chef and staff are all exceptionally friendly...

I eat sushi a lot so I thought I might avoid the poluar streets. The second they handed me with an English menu with nothing specific written I knew I fell for the trap already. Just says chefs choice. Got 10 very regular sushi. Quality not better than genki or sushiro. AVOID AT ALL COST if you're not Japanese. Pretty sure they try to make money off us...

I picked the deluxe instead of regular thinking maybe they will be serving some special pieces. But it was all very regular, tuna, salmon, squid, nothing special. Wish I read the 1 star reviews before hand because it was exactly that. I was just lazy and didn't want to walk too far into the tourist area. Got ripped off huge time. Sushiro is better...
