Pizzeria e Birreria LUCE — Restaurant in Osaka

As an Argentinian that normally enjoys “Italian like” food in our country, I should say that the pizza and pasta was not like we were expecting. However it was very good, specially when you’re looking to eat something different to traditional Japanese food while touristing.

The staff was very nice despite not speaking any English.

Portion sizes and prices were ok.

There’s a free bar with non alcohol drinks like juice, water, ice tea and ice coffee and also hot tea and coffee.

We went for the “2 people “ menu, that includes a plate with salami, mortadella, pate, etc. 1 medium pizza, 1 pasta, and 2 small vanilla ice cream.

Was after pizza meal for the night, was going for another pizzeria but was too lazy to go to so went for Luce, and it was a great choice! Staff welcomed us with a greeting and smile. The female waitress who served us speaks a bit of English and their QR menu offers English language option were both very helpful. We never had the ff pizzas as they seem to be unique flavours: Bianchetti and Manzo... And they were delicious!!! For the price, I'd say worth it compared to pizzas we had in Australia. Not a place to go if you want to be taken care of. You basically have to call a waitress for anything you want, even to clear the empty dishes. Flavor was ok, although it was more Chinese style preparation of the pastas. Horrendously over-priced and the pizza sizes are laughably small. The set menu is stupid as it requires two purchases of it but they only give an extra pasta and make you share everything else. Perfect example of everything a good restaurant...
