Charming small cafe on a quiet resifential street near Hanazonocho station. The owners are lovely and the food is basic but nice. This cafe became our go-to breakfast place and every visit brightens our day :) Like most other japanese cafes they have a number of breakfast sets tk choose from (but way more than others!!!) and there is a menu in English too. We tried many other local cofe houses in the area but Sad Cafe is by far the best!

I loved this cafe and ate here for breakfast everyday during my stay in Osaka! Food is great, prices are cheap and the man and ladies working are so sweet! It’s very cozy, good food, good prices and amazing service. They also have live music on Saturdays. So sweet the man played a song for me on a traditional instrument! Arigato!

A complete GEM of a cafe. Fantastic set breakfast and lunch sets, reasonable prices, friendly, great atmosphere, and nice music. I speak reasonably good Japanese; the menu may be tough if you don’t but I think the staff will work with you. It’s a little tough to find yet WELL worth seeking out.

Came here a couple of times as this is an excellent American style diner. Staff are all friendly and service is fast. There is a good selection of traditional breakfast options, and English menus are provided if you need them. It’s quirky and charming. I like it. No English menu and little English speak available, but a big effort was made from the nice gentleman and ourselves to try and understand each other. Lovely Japanese hospitality overall. For breakfast, it’s western style (I had a curry hot dog, it was fun). I used the Google translate app to understand the menu...
