We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Teppanyaki Ousaka inside the Plaza Osaka Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff, Ishari and Iwayan, made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service.
Our teppanyaki chef, Takahashi-san, was the highlight and star of the evening. Not only is he a brilliant cook, but he is also fluent in English and has a fantastic sense of humor. He kept us entertained with lively conversations while expertly preparing our meal, making the experience feel personal and special.
We indulged in an array of delicious dishes, including the “melt in your mouth” “Omi” Wagyu beef, abalone, white fish, and cuttlefish. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The fried garlic rice was a delightful complement, and the special sauce made from yuzu and spicy chili added a unique kick to the meal.
As a beautiful surprise, the team presented us with slices of cheesecake adorned with exciting flare candles to celebrate our anniversary. It was a thoughtful touch, and everyone joined in wishing us a Happy Anniversary, making the moment even more special.
The atmosphere was lively and fun, with spacious counter seating that offered breathtaking views of the Osaka skyline at night.
In terms of value, Teppanyaki Ousaka exceeded our expectations. The generous portion sizes, quality of the food, and the overall experience made it worth every yen.
I highly recommend Teppanyaki Ousaka for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an amazing meal in Osaka. We can’t...
Read moreDining at Wagyu Teppanyaki Ousaka is so much more than just a meal—it’s an experience that engages all your senses from the moment you walk in. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Ishara and Gurung, whose attentiveness and kindness made us feel right at home. Their service was seamless, genuine, and thoughtful throughout the evening. The star of the show was our incredibly talented chef, Chef Asako. Not only is she a master of her craft, but her warmth, sense of humor, and graceful presence made the entire night feel personal and special. Watching her work was mesmerizing—each movement precise, every dish presented like a work of art. Every bite of the Wagyu was rich, flavorful, and clearly prepared with intention. The cuts were luxurious and melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seared to showcase their natural flavor. What truly elevated the experience was the house-made yuzu kosher, which added a bright, balanced touch that complemented the beef beautifully. It was easily one of the most memorable flavor pairings we’ve ever had. From start to finish, Wagyu Teppanyaki Ousaka exceeded all expectations. The ambiance, the service, and the cuisine came together to create something truly magical. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply want to treat yourself to an extraordinary night, this is a place that delivers not just a meal,...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary and it was a heavenly experience! The food was absolutely amazing and the view was beautiful. the atmosphere and ambience was also fantastic- it was perfectly peaceful and they had smooth relaxing instrumental music playing in the background that really complimented the vibe. I made the terrible mistake of eating too much before the dinner, so I was too full to finish each of the courses, however I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was. Despite feeling full the food tasted so good and it was definitely the best teppanyaki experience I have ever had. For those who have seen the anime Food Wars- This experience felt like it was straight from the anime and the chef was a top student from Totsuki! The entire time the service was also incredible- the chef and the entire staff were so nice and they made my girlfriend and I feel like royalty. We were able to take pictures with the chef after the dinner and they even let us take a picture with a giant cut of wagyu in front of us. My girlfriend and I would highly recommend this place and would love...
