I heard from friends that Japanese-style Italian cuisine offers a unique and delicious experience, so I specifically searched for nearby Italian restaurants. When we first entered, it looked like a punk-style family restaurant, and I thought we might have walked into the wrong place. This food is unironically fantastic. I’ve been to some of the best Italian restaurants in the world, but for some reason the mixed pizza I had here is easily inside of my top 3. It’s absolutely inconceivable to me that such amazing food could be at such a low price (5.5 USD for the pizza). The carbonara was amazing as well, an extremely solid dish with all the right flavors again at an extremely low price point. Might not look like a restaurant from the outside but definitely a hidden gem in Otaru, the food are set at a very affordable price. Ordered a carbonara, the sauce is not as cheesy as a traditional carbonara but it taste great, i paid 200 yen extra for larger portions and portions are huge, almost too much for one person to finish it.
