Absolutely LOVED the food here, and super kid-friendly. They have a big tatami with a bunch of toys and kids games, plenty-suitable for entertaining my 5 year old and 7 yo during the very short wait for food. The specialty of the house is miso ramen, each with a mild spice kick and crazy rich & flavorful broth. They brought kids bowls & cutlery, and my boys went to town on a large bowl of noodles while I gave them a lesson in slurping, demoing from my bowl of spicy soybean ramen. Cash only and they close at 7:30pm, but were kind enough to seat and serve us when we wandered in at 7:05. Street parking was plentiful and the whole experience was a very satisfying, quick in & out. おいしい食べ物, どうもありがとうございます!

The best ramen I’ve had, ever, period. The chef and his wife are very lovely and careful with their cooking. The atmosphere is local and family friendly, there are toys for the kids and with the open kitchen it is so cool to watch the chef are work! I advice you to try the “popular ramen” which is using 10+ hours cooked pork bone soup and the fried dumplings 😍🤤

Shops and eateries were closing at 6pm in the Otaru shopping district. The eating places opened were charging exorbitant prices. Googled and found this quaint little traditional Ramen shop just a short distance off the busy district. The Ramen served here is awesome.. freshly made with a rich flavor in the stock. The char siew slices were juicy and not dry at all. The prices was affordable. We paid 5400yen for our family of 4. This is a fraction of what would have been if we dine in the shopping district.
