Today is my most unforgettable memory in my 8days Kyoto Trip.:) As a strong typhoon is coming tonight, I find Oshokuji Dokiro Nishio still open and given me a super good service when I go inside, The food is amazing and after our conversations, Find that this is the fourth Generation restaurant! Before I left, The boss give me a dinner box just worry about I can’t find any food at night because of the extremely bad weather, I think what they serve was not only just about good food but with all there kindness heart, I will say this is my most tasty Oya Ko Donburi I had try in my life❤️ Thanks so much Nishio!

A very homely family-run restaurant which serves affordable and delicious fusion food! The Thai curry risotto that I ordered came with a generous serving of seafood and meat. The salad set also came with a wide variety of vegetables. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in Japan! The family running the restaurant was extremely warm towards us too and the service was excellent! Do stop by if you're visiting lake Biwa!

Really delicious and well priced lunch set menu. The curry pasta was so creamy and tasty and the dessert of honey castella cake was fantastic. Everything was very well prepared. At first I thought the price was little high at about 1300 yen until I realized it was a set menu price which got you a salad, pasta, dessert, tea and coffee. One of the best lunches I had on my entire Japan trip.

My wife and I are staying very close by and are very lucky to have found this cute, wonderful restaurant. The people are extremely nice and the chef is very accommodating. We speak very little Japanese but have no problem finding dishes that we love because all of them are delicious! We will be coming to this place often in the coming weeks!

100% recommend! Family owned restaurant! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was excellent! We look forward to coming back already! Check it out if you’re in Otsu!

大事なことなので、先に言います！ もし寄られるならば、電話で予約や空席を確認された方がいいかもです！ 美味しかったからこそ、食べられなかった悲しみがわかりますので！笑 滋賀ドライブ中に立ち寄りました。 駐車場は無いため、近くのコインパーキングを利用。近隣にいくつかありますので、大丈夫かと。 店内は座席が3席で、店内はとても綺麗。お食事処というより、カフェみたいな雰囲気で、入り口にハンドメイドのグッズも取り扱ってみえるみたいです。 自分は四川麻婆鍋焼きラーメンの小盛りご飯付き、連れはトマトチーズリゾットを注文。 10分ちょっとくらいで提供されました。 ラーメンは大人の辛味で、ピリ辛だけどコクがあって、辛いのにやめられない美味しさ😋 自家製粗挽き牛ミンチ使用とのことですが、ゴロゴロとしたお肉やイカ、茄子に、枝豆も入って食感も飽きなく食べられます！辛いラーメン食べながらのご飯なんて、なんぼでも入ってしまいます笑 トマトチーズリゾットも少し食べさせてもらいましたが、こちらも具がゴロゴロ！本当にトマト！！って感じがしてこちらも本当に美味しく食べれます。 リゾットは写真を撮り忘れてしまったので、自分の推しの四川麻婆鍋焼きラーメンを写真で見て下さい！ 本当に美味しかったです、ご馳走さまでした！
