Through the glass, I saw that the restaurant had no more than six occupied tables, with plenty of empty seats available. So, I pushed the door open and said we needed a table for two. The man at the cashier, who seemed to be a manager, told us to wait outside. After confirming twice, he impatiently pushed open the door, pointed to a corner outside, and told us to wait there with an annoyed expression and tone.
This experience was extremely unpleasant. If the restaurant wants all guests to wait outside, they should put up a sign instead of letting people walk in just to send them back out. Can't comment on the beef as we didn't try it. And the prices are steep given the low quality ($90 USD for two mains and two beers). There are many varieties of meats to choose from, and we opted for 2 sets of Lamp House Yakiniku set, Rusutsu Pork short loin, Kaigen chicken tight, and some seafood.
The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient.
Despite the restaurant being reasonably large, it was a bit smokey.
