イタリアン CIRCO — Restaurant in Sapporo

The pizza is great, I got a margherita and it was delicious, just like the ones we have back at home in Italy, the ambience is also great, but hell if it’s expensive, nearly 17€ (2783JPY) for a Margherita and a small glass of coke, that’s truly insane, at least they threw in an “antipasto” which consisted of a small cracker and some mascarpone (which was delicious), I’ve no idea if they put it in the bill as I don’t understand Japanese and the waiters didn’t speak much English (and honestly I trusted them). Maybe it’s so expensive because I went on a Saturday evening im not sure, but I’ve had similar quality pizzas in Melbourne, Australia for a similar price, which I consider to be just slightly more expensive...

Made a reservation through app at 7pm. Was led to a counter table for 2.

Very busy restaurant, so reservation is recommended. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, it gave a very warm and welcoming vibe. We order a margherita pizza and a carbonara. In the middle of our meal, we were treated with a beautiful violin play by a violinist 🥰

After payment, the floor manager actually accompanied us to the lift lobby and waited our lift 😲😲 we were impressed by the hospitality ❤️❤️🥰 even though only order 2 dishes.

I definitely recommend trying Circo but make sure to reserve to...

We received some great service from an English speaking (Italian?) waiter, but, sadly, that was the primary highlight from our experience at CIRCO tonight. The namesake pizza was mediocre and our octopus carpaccio was far too salty.

The restaurant is large and seems good for large groups. Monday night was far from full when we left at 6:30 PM.
