味の巣 円山 — Restaurant in Sapporo

Locate along the way from Maruyama-Koen station to the Maruyama Zoo. This restaurant is a family-manage restaurant with your go-to classic japanese food. They got a table and a bar seat which allowed for traveler both solo and in group. (I also notice a private room as well)

I found this restaurant because I went there around 3pm where most of others restaurant were closed during afternoon period (2pm - 5 pm) but this restaurant was not.

The tempura was solid, taste great and crunchy. Grilled fish was cooked well, very tender with right amount of salt, more over the pork with ginger stir-fried also taste fantastic for a local restaurant.

The price of each item was okay given the quality and amount of food in each plate. (If the rice wasn't enough for you, you may asked for more for free too!)

Overall, great experience here. Would be back if I ever visit these part of...
