Ordered the teriyaki burger, freshness burger and hot dog for 1400 yen total.
Comparing to McDonald's, prices are higher and the bread is a brioche but sizes and flavours are not as good as I remembered it. Pretty basic burgers that weren't well put together for a premium fast food price.
The teriyaki was filled with crunchy lettuce where I couldn't even see the patty. Yes it added a nice crunch but the flavour wasn't as tasty as McDonald's either. The freshness burger on the other hand was a little bit mushy and definitely messy to eat by the end. Flavour was reminiscent of a mos burger in the early days. The hot dog was a little better with a lightly toasted roll but could hardly taste the sausage. My first bite of the hot dog also threw up almost all the onions and relish onto the table. Wasn't very well put together so everything just went up in the air.
It's a real pity because I have such fond memories of freshness burger from about ten years ago. The plus side is that the vibe is really retro chic and there's lots of sauces to try. Parking is a nightmare though. We parked at 7 11 nearby and walked. There is an...
