A very quirky gem of a cafe hidden in what was perhaps an ex-office building. You need google maps to locate this one or you could miss it. There's a small swing sign on the footpath and again quite easy to walk straight past it as you might be busy looking up to find building signs. Once you walk through the auto glass doors, continue to walk right to the end of the corridor and you'll see a door. Open the door and you've just walked into what feels like a underground coffee culture! It's fun! 😁 One of the best coffee places in Sapporo. Very friendly staff. Here, they use only oat milk if I'm not mistaken (I asked for soy latte but they don't do soy here). It's the first time trying oat milk latte and it was surprisingly good. When you are open to trying something different to what you are used it, not only is it all part of the experience but you adapt and now have more options. Thank you for looking after us and making such a great coffee. I wished I had discovered you sooner than my last day at Sapporo. And I hope you get to come and try Melbourne's Brother Baba Budan's coffee too. We have lots of...
Read more(visited September 2023) If you’re looking for “third-wave” coffee styles (think pour-overs, light, tea-like), this is the place to go. During my two week Japan trip where we tried numerous coffee shops of all styles, I can confidently say that this was on the top two. The spot is located inside a building. If I remember correctly, you walk straight in and it’s in the back. The space is huge and there is even a stage for music performances. The menu includes an extensive list of beans across the world, with different price points. I am almost certain the owner roasts them himself. We tried three types of beans as pour-overs and the tasting notes alongside the beans all came through beautifully. Bitterness was minimal, and flavors were so complex. We also had two pastries—one was a croissant that was flaky, warm, and delicious. The other food options looked very yummy, and I’m sure are delicious also. The barista and owner was warm and delightful, and we ended up buying beans to bring back to the States. Absolute highlight of our time in...
Read moreThe place was a little difficult to find because it's tuck inside a building. From the street, you will see am entrance to a lift lobby. You walk in and on the left is the walkway that leads to the cafe.
This place serves artisan coffee at a good price. Brother brewing the coffee takes so much pride at his work and you can see the effort he takes into every single brew.
Don't expect a 'fast food' cuppa experience here. Expect to wait for your drinks to be delivered after some time because each drink is painstakingly crafted to perfection.
The wide selection of artisan beans is really impressive.
The one we had really exhibited the tasting notes advertised for the bean. It's amazing that coffee could taste this good on its own.
Service was really excellent. The lady serving us had quite a good command of English so ordering and communicating was good.
Highly recommended for a good...
