I stayed 9 nights in June 2025 and booked superior plus double room. I requested the highest floor for my room booking as it was for wedding anniversary celebration and while the hotel replied they couldn't promise but will try, I was glad we managed to stay on the 15th floor. The hotel prepared a card to congratulate us for wedding anniversary which was very thoughtful.
My room was quiet with a nice mountain view and my husband and i were able to get good night sleep every night. The cleaning staff was good and replenished the neccessary items like water, room slippers, toothbrushes, refilled shampoo conditioner body wash every day. Best was the toilet as the shower and toilet was together in the same place made it convenient to use the toilet, shower and dry the hair. The aircon was cold enough. Air purifier provided some good white noise to sleep at night. TV had limited channels but there is Netflix and YouTube available that we can sync or login to our own accounts.
The hotel has the best location inside Cocono Susukino Mall and is connected directly to Susukino Station. But will need to transfer to three lifts one from mrt to level 1 of mall. Then walk to the other end to take lift to level 7 and then transfer to hotel lift to your room floor. There is also a 15min walk Underpass that connects to Sapporo Station with many underground shops. We used the walkway to walk to the hotel almost every night so as to save some transportation fee.
The hotel is also very safe and clean. There is ice machine at level 8 and also the gym is quite big n good but closes at 10pm. Lobby has items like coffee, tea, face wash, shaver cream, comb etc where we could ownself take what is needed. The hotel also provides laundry service at a reasonable cost as we didnt want to wait to do coin laundry on our own. Check in and out was seamless. Will definitely book this hotel again if im visiting Sapporo again!
As I booked from Booking.com the credit card exchange rate Sgd to Yen was very poor. Ended up paying extra $100++ dollars due to poor exchange rate. Chose this platform as it was cheaper compared to Agoda and the hotel's website. Maybe would be better if I had paid in japanese yen...
Read moreTo conclude our journey through Hokkaido, we carefully selected the Sapporo Stream Hotel for our final two nights, and it exceeded all our expectations.
Booking a premium room granted us access to the lounge, spa, and the exclusive premium breakfast on the top floor, which were the highlights of our stay. The breakfast allowed us to order one Western and one Japanese plate each, complemented by a fresh buffet that surprisingly included wine, sake, and even Nikka whisky. The Japanese breakfast, a Chirashi bowl topped with two fresh shrimp each morning, was particularly memorable.
What truly stood out was the incredible hospitality of the staff. It seemed that a majority of the guests were from Korea, and as a result, many staff members were fluent or proficient in basic Korean, making communication seamless and welcoming.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Sapporo, and the view from our room was fantastic. As part of the Tokyu hotel chain, we signed up for a free membership and were able to check in early. Parking was convenient, located on the first floor of the same building with two very helpful guides. Hotel guests receive a discount and can enter and exit freely. The room itself was spacious with a comfortable layout, and the smart TV connected easily to YouTube and Netflix.
The little moments—starting the day in the sauna which opens at 5 AM, and ending it with a glass of Nikka whisky in the lounge after dinner—created wonderful memories that make us want to return.
The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a bellboy to assist with luggage from the parking area to the 7th-floor lobby. It could be a bit challenging for those with heavy bags. However, extra amenities are readily available for guests to pick up from the lobby.
Without a doubt, we would choose to stay here again on our next...
Read moreMy wife and I travelled to Hokkaido a long time dream, we stopped over in Sapporo for 2 nights (1 day in Sapporo is largely enough) on our way to the stunning Hokkaido countryside. We booked the largest room and in all justice the room was excellent in size and facilities. The smaller rooms are too small. The hotel has a lounge level restricted to the rooms on the 7th floor. |The problem is that the hotel has NO service at all. Everything is automated and there is no help with luggage. The staff at the reception is cold and most of them aloof and unhelpful. Something completely unthinkable in Japan where everyone is so respectful, kind, professional, warm and super efficient. The exact opposite of this hotel. |When I was checking out the employee who was attending me told me I had to pay 1000 yen’s for the missing ordinary unmarked plastic keycard. She send me away with her hand interjecting “go back to your room and bring it back!” I said no and when I reached into my pocket to pay the absurd plastic keycard fine I found the key and gave it the very rude young lady. She loudly sighed in disgust and slammed the key against the desk not even saying thank you. I asked to see the duty manager and she didn’t even look up… finally a colleague of hers came to us embarrassed and went to fetch the duty manager I complained they didn’t even apologize… |Of course no help with transportation, directions, restaurants, nothing. |And we, of course, carried our luggage to the car… the reception is on the 4th floor and the entrance is through a Mall… not the most comfortable setting…|By the way |Facilities …. 4 stars |Service ….. 1 star |Prices ….. 5 stars. |There are far better options in the city, I would say anything is better that this place. Even the Ibis across the street....
