Yakiniku Gurumans Ito — Restaurant in Sapporo

FULL MARKS to this Yakiniku Resturant despite not having a English menu Slightly hidden in a way, not exactly with huge door signage.

To ensure you find it, it’s just beside the famous Ramen shop Sumire Sapporo Ramen.

The resturant has plenty of gems, one particularly would be Ms Chika(Chika San) beautiful lady that is able to converse in English, giving you the clear explanation of the items in the menu.

I had one of the best Yakiniku in Japan , proper specialised Yakiniku shop rather than buffet. It’s Quality over quantities.

Order カルビ　normal n superior 和牛steak Kimchi Pork Horumon

You can literally taste the difference in the meat. Not frozen or smell

Must must try in Hokkaido Sapporo!!!

I went around 12am alone after seeing the amazing reviews. I ordered harami, gyuhorumon, and gyutan. I'm not sure if it's because of the time I went, but the horumon had a strong foul odor/taste that couldn't be covered up by the marinade nor the dipping sauce (for reference, horumon is my favorite, and I order it every time I eat yakiniku). The tongue was good, but the harami had too much fat attached for my preference. The raw scallop muchim(?) was amazing, and the cold noodles were the best I've had!! Service was good, and the warm lighting at the wooden counters created a really nice, calming atmosphere. I'm not sure I would come back, but maybe I'll give it another try...

Highly recommended to visit. We get a seat for 2 for 60 mins dinning time as we didn’t reserve in advance. Everything here tastes amazing. I love their salad particularly as the seasoning is very refreshing. Every meat cut is so good and we love the rump especially with their special sauces. Side note, I think there are more items on the Japanese menu (such as innards) so maybe you want to try your Japanese skills when ordering. Another note, despite this shop is at level 1, it’s still very easy to miss the entrance. So just try to make use of the other review photos to find...
