"I'm obsessed with this place! My daughter shares my love for ikura, and we were both in heaven. Servers will tell you don't go overboard ordering. As when I ordered two large bowls of overflowing ikura. She cautioned, saying it's too much. It's nice of them, so I ended up ordering one for my kid small and mine medium.

Don't worry about food quality, which is really, really good. I suggest you make a reservation.

Excellent food !!! Totally love the vibes and service here too. Food was authentic, has its own unique flavours and super fresh. We ordered the set which comes with salad, sashimi, baked potato with squid guts, grilled fish and seasonal menu. All are extremely incredible and my favourite is the baked potato with squid guts as well as the salmon sashimi that has better quality than other high end restaurants I've been to. This place requires reservation in advance, not too expensive and would highly recommended it !!

Another branch of famous Hachikyo (out of three in pretty much the same spot) - the only one that had space to book a few hours before. Sit Japanese style on the floor - but you can put your legs down into the hole under the table, so quite comfortable after all. The staff can seem intimidating at first as they scream in Japanese, but they are actually very kind and caring. The food is nothing short of incredible. Bowl of rice with the salmon roe is iconic, with them screaming "Oisah" when pouring the roe....
