Sushi Shinonome — Restaurant in Sapporo

Food quality and variety was great. I was especially impressed with the Kohada and tsuke akami (maguro). Really great value for money for dinner Omakase. I would really love to give them 5 stars for the whole experience. However the chef kept talking to his other guests non-stop and I felt we were completely ignored. If he was a quiet chef who only talked every now and then, I wouldn't have felt that difference. At several occasions I wanted to engage him to comment on the food but there were no chance at all. After all other guests had left, I thought he would start engaging with us but he just asked where we came from and after that it was just dead air. It was a shame that it wasn't a perfect experience but I would still recommend it...

Everything was perfect, the best sushi i ever had. My favourite dish is the fish liver. Even my girlfriend who doesnt like sushi said that the fish liver was delicious. The atmosphere was great, the chef is really nice and friendly, he speaks english as well. I will definitely visit this restaurant when i came back to Sapporo. Thanks for making our trip to Japan...

Amazing Sushi all around, the typical sushi meats and new ones I've never had before that were an adventure to explore. It was prepared masterfully and flavors were all very balanced, had the best piece of eel here .
