This is an interesting coffee shop near Tohoku University Katahira campus. What sets this shop apart from others is that a wide variety of unroasted coffee beans are available to choose from around the world, then the proprietor will roast your selection on the spot using a small ceramic pot. The roasted beans are immediately ground and brewed, resulting in a very unique coffee. The shop is intimate and quite small, offering a couple of tables and a bar with a few seats. Free internet is available and there is a selection of sweets as well. The owner is friendly and attentive and the ambiance is relaxing. Its a nice place to take a break...

One of my favorite places in Sendai. Wonderful smell of roast coffee every time you walk close by.
