This bar is a must in Sendai. The service is good beyond any expectation. You feel taken care of and the quality of drinks and snacks is highest grade. I had Moskow Mule two days in a row. The fresh grinded ginger and lime give the drink spectacular taste. The Mojito is also over the top. The music was very pleasant and from time to time adjusted in volume to the moment. The bar itself is looking amazing and see the master barman prepare the drinks is both amusing and pleasant. Useful info: -Pay with physical VISA card -Only electronically-heated tabac allowed -Service fee was 700JPY and every JPY worth 😉 so do not hessitate cos of this. You will enjoy the experience.

If you’re in Sendai I highly recommend you stop at Bar Owl. Very cool atmosphere and award winning cocktails. Was able to sample 8 drinks (with a group of 4 people) and was blown away. Easily some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. We arrived early and were sat immediately (it’s a very small space). The bartender was very accommodating and did a good job translating his creations to English for us. Hope to come back again in the future.

Was recommended visiting BAR OWL whilst visiting Sendai and I was not disappointed!

The bartender was friendly, courteous and extremely accomodating (we came as a group of 4). The venue presents itself as elegant and sophisticated, with nice ambience music played the in the background.

The menu consisted of both classic cocktails, as well as the bartender’s own unique cocktails. Each drink we ordered was individually prepared and the attention to detail was instantly noticeable and reflected the bartender’s skill. The menu was also easily translatable to English if required.

I would highly recommend BAR OWL to any cocktail enjoyers, or for those looking for a nice place to spend a pleasant...

I appreciate the appetizer, it adds a very nice touch. The cocktails are superb: out of the IBA selection even the classics feel fresh. Outside the standard, the bartender is happy to accommodate preferences, and goes to great lengths to explain. I definitely recommend asking for reccomendations: he makes the ingredients shine with clever combinations of bases and accents. The bar is quite quaint and I think that ultimately sitting at the bar and talking to the barista would offer the best experience, however I appreciate the fact that the bartender was accommodating to my rather...
