There aren't many varieties of food, but it's just enough for a noodles shop. The food is good (perhaps I was just too hungry at the time or I underestimated its strength by its modern fast-food look), and I would recommend trying tsukemen. The chilli at the side of the table will certainly help to raise the flavour into a level. It is definitely the soul of the noodles. Also, the pork is quite well to my surprise, out-performing most of the ramen shops. I love Miyagawa chuka soba group and ramen. This is a new shop close to Frespo dep store a bit outside Takayama downtown, close to UNIQLO shop as well. The price are fair, they have different ramen other than the classic Takayama ramen, original recepies and very simple but tasty. Staff is kind and welcoming but they speak little English. Menu with pad in english as well. Hair conditioning too cold and direct to the customers! Cash or credit is ok! Recommended!

One for the few tonkotsu ramen you can find in Takayama and it is really tasty. The broth is light and not too strong, garlic taste is definitely there and it adds up to the experience.
