This lovely, cozy restaurant is also a partial bar and café. Nested on a smaller street, the simple and European style exterior is lined with chalkboard signs displaying specials and seasonal foods. The interior has enough seating for small groups though expect to wait in line during the lunch rush hour. The staff are very considerate and have been the best so far in Tokyo in refilling water! I ordered a vegetable curry dish and it was surprisingly delicious; so many flavors packed into a simple curry! The rice was not over cooked or over-packed and the vegetables were seasonal and seasoned perfectly. The chef can also use siphon to make coffee, which is a very special process to extract smooth yet strong coffee flavor. Quiet and quaint, this is one of the best restaurants in the area!
