I’ve been in Japan for 2 weeks and was really home sick and missed the things I usually eat at home so I found this place on google map. I almost cried of happy tears when they told me that the chef is Thai and that they also have Padek! Lol! Everything was so authentic and delicious. If you are Thai, Laos, Hmong, any Asian in that area in Asia, you will appreciate the flavors here. Taste just like home. Everything is exactly how it’s suppose to taste like. The papaya was sour, spicy and savory with umami from fermented fish sauce. The pad Thai is sweet, savory and sour from tamarind. I didn’t get to try the Prad kapao pork because as soon as it came out, my husband finished it. The pork skewer was lemon grassy and herby. 10/10 for the food and the welcoming customer service. I've had the pleasure of dining at this Thai restaurant on numerous occasions, and it never ceases to amaze me. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to provide recommendations or customize your order to your liking. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. You get great value for your money here. The restaurant's clean and cozy environment adds to the overall dining experience. It's a welcoming and comfortable place to enjoy your meal. In particular, I have to commend the pad gapao, tomyum soup, green curry rice, shrimp fried rice and everything else– each dish is a culinary masterpiece. Fantastic Thai Experience in Minamiaoyama! My partner and I had a wonderful dining experience at Ekamai Yatai during our recent trip to Tokyo.
