Honeymoon, 1 month in Japan. It's the worst hotel we've had in the entire stay. We're paying a total of 225k yen for an 8 night stay, which is a lot on its own, so we were expecting a decent hotel. The rooms are beyond old and outdated, especially the bathroom, which is really disgusting. The wifi is turned off every night at 11 p.m., which is just insane to have the same problem every night. This is close to a baseball stadium so it can get loud for 3-4 hours straight in the late evenings. The staff, although very nice, is absolutely not helpful, couldn't pick up the phone anytime we called the front desk, doesn't have a normal scale for the luggage, COULDN'T EVEN BOOK A TAXI FOR US 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE. I hate to write bad reviews. This is my first one on a hotel. We stayed at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku and had such a great time, so this is just a huge letdown. Do yourself a favor and refrain from staying here. There are far better places for this price. EDIT: Forgot to mention that like many here in the comments added, the AC is very low quality and yet the hotel just...
Read moreI booked this hotel over New years. I emailed them to request a room on a low floor because I'm scared of heights. Nobody bothered to reply to my email, so I assumed they would just find me a room on a low floor when I arrived. What I didn't realise was that the floors of this hotel start at level 13- and the room they placed me on was on the 25th floor! We decided upon arrival to cancel our booking since I was feeling anxious - even in the reception area. Only problem was we were supposed to cancel at least 24 hours prior to the booking. Thankfully, the amazing girl on reception Hitori took care of us and spoke to the booking company on our behalf. She explained our predicament and thanks to Hitori, they thankfully cancelled our reservation and gave us a refund. Hitori was fantastic, so we popped out to buy her some flowers and a small bottle of champagne. But when we returned, she was on her break. So, hopefully you're reading this Hitori - thanks for your help! We really...
Read moreGoogle Map takes you at the back of the Hotel from the station so be aware! You can still get there but have to walk up the narrow steps. If you have a big suit cases bit of a pain so keep walking on the main road don't turn left down the hill. I think every room would have a pretty good view as the Reception is on the 13th floor. Rooms are small but you have your microwave, jug, fridge and even washing machine/dryer in this room with a view so not too bad. The only thing is no cleaning of the room so rubbish was still there and no clean towels when we came back. It's ok but it would have been nice if we didn't have to chase for clean towels. Location is great. Walked to Meiji temple then to Harajuku. Little bit of a long walk but on holidays why not. All the staff were great. Thank you to all for the assistance. We even got checked in early since our room was...
