Zenkōji Temple — Attraction in Tokyo

This temple is a branch of one of the most famous temple in Japan, named Zenko-ji. The original is located at Nagano prefecture where the mid of the Japanese main island and the temple is said once in your life you must come and pray at Zenko-ji. There was a story that an old lady did not have any faith or belief but when she took a ride on a cow, she was taken to Zenko-ji without her intention. I loved this little peaceful oasis in the busy city. I probably loved it more because there were Cherry blossoms when I went there. However, it is a nice quiet area and it was fascinating to see the temple and cemetery. If you are walking around that area it is worth stopping in to take a short rest and appreciate the temple while having a refreshment from the vending machine tucked around the wall to the right when you first walk in.
