中華そば 大宣 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Right outside of Exit A2 of Ryogoku Station, this husband-wife duo's Chinese-style restaurant is super accessible.

Ordered their fried rice/ramen (tsukumen-style) combo and it was amazing. The noodles was an umami bomb with the soup that looked light and was so packed with flavour but the fried rice does not pale in comparison either. Added on a small plate of gyoza and you could really taste the meat packed within on that crispy, flakey outer skin.

Atmosphere was very local, with only another pair of mother-daughter pair that seemed to know the owners very well enjoying their beer and laughing away. Could tell that the couple input their effort on all the items in the restaurant, with even the menu written and put together by hand in very homemade clear plastic tiny files; even more amazingly, they have English menus as well for foreigners.

Give this place a visit to experience a real local Chinese-style food and have a drink or three to soak up both the excellent taste of the food and the vibe of living in...

都営大江戸線・両国駅A2出口を出てすぐ、清澄通り沿いに店舗を構える「中華そば大宣」にて晩御飯で立ち寄りました。以前から目の前を何度も通っていて、いつも美味しそうな匂いを漂わせているお店でして気になる存在でした。

カウンターに座り、注文。 中華もり（シングル）＋半チャーハン（1080円）と餃子（440円）とビール大瓶（720円）を頼みました。 瓶ビールにはおつまみとしてごぼうの煮つけが供されました。

しばらくすると半チャーハンが出来上がり、いただきます。良い味付けでたまらん！中華もりはこの店の名物のようです。単品の中華もりには、大盛（1.5ヶ）、ダブル（2ヶ）、ダブル半（2.5ヶ）、トリプル（3ヶ）、フォース（4ヶ）が選べるようです。これが、スープが絶妙すぎるバランスで大変美味しかった。スープの中には、海苔、メンマ、チャーシュー、ネギが入っておりました。さらには、若干小ぶりな餃子には直接、醤油・ラー油・お酢をかけていただきました。ビールとの相性抜群なのは言うまでもない。そして、最後に店主さんが割スープをくださり、中華もりのつけ汁に入れて〆ました。このスープが最高すぎて、またお邪魔したいと思いました。

結構、いろんなメニューもあり、次回にはカレーチャーハンを食べてみたいなぁ。 ちなみに、この日は「MLB WORLD TOUR TOKYO SERIES 2025」の開幕戦。 ドジャースVSカブスがテレビで放送されており、一杯やりながら中継を観てました。 これぞ町中華でリラックスできるひと時って感じです。やはり、町中華は最高ですね。

Good service, good food, very friendly owners. Foreigner friendly, they don’t treat you any different and make it easy to order. Mostly locals in here that’s how you know it’s good. 10/10...
