While en route to the Sword Museum in Tokyo, I unexpectedly stumbled upon the enchanting former Yasuda Garden. This expansive garden boasts a serene ambiance with a picturesque lake. As I ventured along the clearly defined pathway, I was delighted to discover inviting seating areas, offering the perfect opportunity to pause, unwind, and immerse oneself in tranquil surroundings. Additionally, the presence of convenient restroom facilities ensured a comfortable visit.

The garden's layout and arrangement were simply captivating, presenting a harmonious composition that resembled a work of art. I highly recommend strolling through this idyllic setting, especially with a loved one, as it promises a truly romantic experience. As I meandered along, admiring the scenic beauty, I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a charming turtle swimming gracefully in the tranquil lake.

Furthermore, I found the locals to be amiable and welcoming. Their warm hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit, as they were more than willing to provide helpful guidance or engage in friendly conversation.

In a nutshell, the former Yasuda Garden in Tokyo is an unexpected gem that should not be missed. Its expansive grounds, serene lake, well-maintained pathways, and comfortable amenities create an ideal environment for relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether you're seeking a romantic outing or wish to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, this garden is sure to leave a lasting impression. Combined with the friendly locals, the overall experience is...

The Old Yasuda Garden is a magnificent garden built in the late 19th century. It features a spacious, green landscape with a pond, fountains, embankments, and squares. The garden is especially famous for its seasonal flowers, such as cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, plums, and autumn leaves. The garden also showcases scattered works of art, such as stones and sculptures, making it a unique fusion of nature and art. The Old Yasuda Garden is a popular tourist destination, attracting many visitors to its charming and beautiful atmosphere. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend taking a stroll through this wonderful garden filled with...

Wow, what a small slice of peace amongst the hustle and bustle. We stumbled upon this little park whilst out on a walk on our one night stay in Ryogoku. It’s only a few minutes walk from Ryogoku station, just near the sumo wrestling stadium. Even in winter we found it beautiful and appreciated the gardens. It has sweet little Japanese bridges and a small shrine. The contrast of the concrete that surrounds it makes it all the more special. We appreciated the information about the history of the park. We have visited a number of parks in Japan and they have all been lovely, and though this is smaller, I do recommend visiting if...
