Simple, healthy, and inexpensive Japanese food. Lots of great vegetarian options. The restaurant is attached to a gym and the building is a bit run down.

Overall I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and it was great to be able to find some healthy Japanese options! The menu is simple and they have English available. You select the options available within each category and the type/ quantity of rice you want.

Nice healthy late lunch at the Run Cube Cafe アスリート食堂本店 (“10 Over 9” is the subtitle of the place) in Takebashi. Healthy ingredients with great variety of textures. The chawanmushi (savory steamed egg custard with veggies) is a nice touch. This place is pretty crowded at lunch time so I’m happy to have found it somewhat empty at teatime.

You can choose from a variety of healthy dishes which have their nutritional data displayed. (None of the main dishes are vegetarian...)

Nice to grab a healthy vegan option! Downfall- I wasn't sure how to fill out the form so I filled every box and got a lot of food :) the food was fantastic and not too heavy!! Has a great view of the area to enjoy your meal.
