2D Cafe — Restaurant in Tokyo

Before I came to this place.. I had read the reviews here.. most of them said that this place was only suitable to be visited just once.. no need to come repeatedly.. because there was nothing special other than the decoration.. on At first... when I read the reviews about the food, it was normal... I didn't think it was strange... but after I came myself... I understood... the only one with a 2D theme was 1 strawberry cake... the others looked like normal food & drinks... on the menu it says that it's fresh mango.. but in fact it's like packaged canned mango.. the chocolate cake is also too sweet which immediately makes my whole body shudder because it's too sweet.. just 1 bite.. I can't continue anymore.. I'm very like sweet food.. but for this I think the sweetness can make me diabetes instantly.. 🥲 And one more thing.. of all things.. what really made an impression on my memory was the service.. very rude.. reluctant.. and intimidating.. at that time it wasn't very busy there.. but I felt like I wasn't being cared for.. I thought that was it because I'm a foreigner... but after me... there were Japanese people who came to order too... and apparently got the same treatment... in my opinion... if the service wasn't like that... I and the other people could still understand their menu. .. but because from the start the service was very bad.. it makes dissatisfied customers immediately write this review so that it becomes a reference for those of you who intend to visit this place so that you can lower your expectations before coming to this place.. to avoid feeling disappointed like me and other customers feeling..

I visited this place a while ago. It's quite famous from Instagram and other internet platforms. The decor is recognizable and pretty unique. Just like the name indicates it, everything looks like it's a taken straight from a manga. The dessert was pretty tasty too and the portions are big in my opinion.

Then why do I give it 4 and not 5 stars? Well it's because that was basically it. Instagram reels make you feel like everything looks so good but in the end, I think there was only one dish that looked like a 2d - illustration, and that was the cake with black edges that you constantly see on instagram. The dessert I ordered didn't look like that. Also, I feel like for this price the cup should look more convincing too. From my point of view if you put so much effort into the decor, then you should put the exact same effort into the outlook of the drinks and other plates, not just this one plate from instagram. After all, all you need is like a paper cup that would look more convincing :).
