American woman that is well traveled!

Great !!! well almost perfect! MY FAVORITE hostel / capsule hotel!!!!

Second favorite is lighting hotel in Asakusa

Amazing ! Except the cleanliness should improve. Specifically underneath the bed mattress should be cleaned better also the restrooms! Please ! They just need to perform a deep cleaning more often and dust because there’s a lot of dust particles found on the exhaust fan and windows .

But I can assure you the bed linen is clean the towels too. Great ventilation in capsules and throughout the floor and the floors do not smell! No sewage smells either ! 🙏🏼😍

Showers are incredibly SMALL though. Not ideal for curvy women ,tall and big guests . Cant really shower properly because your arm might hit the wall.

Great location, walking distance from many convenience stores, JR trains , restaurants, and hot spots. Near nightclubs too!

They provide great smelling Shampoo, conditioner, body wash , ear plugs, cotton swabs, head bands, shower nets , face towel , full body towel and slippers every day! Also kettle and microwave and wipes so you can eat at the lounge on the first floor. ALL for FREE what more do you expect!? These negative comments baffle me ! So ungrateful!

Oh and vending machines right outside!

The BED is the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in all of Japan!! I’ve stayed in many budget home stays, hostels and capsules!

Most women are respectful , clean and quiet but if you have an issue use ear plugs ( they provide ) or ask them personally to tone it down ! It’s a shared space! Bring a luggage lock if you are worried but most ppl don’t steal! Please don’t be dumb and come down and say someone stole your expensive ish well make sure it’s secure! ( it’s not a private room!)

I think the lighting of the hotel and decor is amazing! Also WiFi is strong for remote workers great for video calling ! Beautiful rooftop and free laundry detergent and cheap washing machine and dryer! There’s one down the street if you need a larger dryer !

However the best bed I’ve slept in at a capsule hotel in all Tokyo!

Complaint : Whoever is cleaning the third floor does a poor job. Hair , dirt and dust in capsules and bathroom stalls.

Some People are gross! They have poor manners . They don’t clean after theirselves ! Such a shame! When they wet the counter tops and toilets they don’t dry it after use , it’s just annoying! Perhaps they should place a sign to “wipe after yourself and countertops please to keep shared space clean!” !!!

Overall Happy customer! I think the cost is worth it considering the quality and location. Try looking for an alternative …there isn’t . 😆😏

Regarding staff: Tun! Was phenomenal if you get her as you’re cleaner 🧼 🧹 consider yourself blessed 🙏🏼. Such lovely Neymar burmanese staff! 😍🥰😘 also the front Japanese staff members were all a delight!

I just hope whoever decides to book here respects the rules and are hygienically clean! Please keep this place nice! It’s truly a hidden gem! Don’t destroy it with your gross habits, don’t bring girls in when there are several love hotels you can do your business in , clean after yourself so someone else can enjoy their Tokyo stay too!

Btw this place is always booked out so consider yourself lucky if you get a bed!...

勝手に追加料金を請求されます The worse service , rude , and lack of consideration

I booked VIP room through Booking.com. My plan is not refundable, but The hotel's manager canceled my reservation and forced us to change for the other plan more expensive. I don't know why this hotel forced us extra fee for no reason , I guess they wanted to raise the price because of the lost due to Corona. I called so many times to kindly ask for them why he changed my non refundable reservation without my agree. And I spoke to the Manager in which he said: This is not my problem, I don't care if you had reserved a refundable plan to non refundable plan. The hotel has a right to modify the reservation's content. The hotel receptionist named nick Pyle , the hostel's manager who picked up the phone is too rude to even be at the hotel. Was so surprised to found such bad service at a hotel in japan. Eeven during the stay at hotel, this manager's attitude in a very rude way is unacceptable Hey, you ! the manager ! Do you treat your customers like that ??? Which kind of education you had ? Mr Manager that I spoke with was uncooperative and rude. When I asked for his name he said multiple times "Why do you need my name?", then eventually he told me that his name is Lee, or Nick or Pyle . When I asked to speak to someone else he told me that he is the only person available. I experienced so much anger and frustration, I will suggest never stay in this hotel. What a irresponsible person , The hotel's owner must think to place some one else well educated person as a manager.

Nick ? Pyle...

Conveniently located near Shin-Okubo station - one stop further from Shinjuku...not too far from Tokyo station (Take Yamanote line from Tokyo Station). ||||Side road is bit hard to find for new comers but once you know, very easy afterwards. Restaurants and shops of all kinds are near around. There were couple of Nepali restaurants too!||||Hotel itself was very clean. They offer towels/toothbrushes/paste/slippers/facemask and hairbands too! in a basket like thingy (I thought it was cute)||||Toilets and bathrooms were shared but super clean. They even had hair straighteners!! Bathrooms had shampoos and body washes. Toilets were equipped with bidget and seat warmers!!||||Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. USB and other electric plugins were in side the cube...including Tv (which I did not bother watching). Alarm and light dimming switches were there inside the capsule too.||||Hotel staffs were friendly. Hotel provided very simple breakfast - drinks/fruits and bread.||||There was a locker provided for shoes at the entrance of the hotel and another locker for your personal stuff on your floor.||||It's a very nice place while your stay in Tokyo. Not flashy but very convenient and nice and economical!! I loved it. ||||The only negative thing is - if you are a light sleeper, it's bit difficult when u get a bed right next to the door!! Some people were banging the main door to the floor and some people were not being considerate of others sleeping while they got up super...

I had a great time experiencing what a capsule hotel was here. The facilities where super clean and new. Staff was quite friendly, they spoke decent English and were even more friendly when you spoke a bit of Japanese. It was a very convinient place to stay over a night but also for a week. I personally had no issues with the noise from other people but I definately do not recommend it as capsules are not noise isolated so either you have ear plugs or you are one of those people who are fine with a but of noise. Generally people were really quiet in the hotel and nobody really speaks unless it is on the lobby. Masks were used from time to time as not everyone follow the rule but it wasn't a big deal for me. In terms of things can could be improved, maybe just the noise isolation if possible but to be honest I knew It was going to be a capsule hotel and not a 5 star hotel but the experience I had in The Global Hotel Tokyo was worthy of maybe even 4 star hotels.

Good place for the price ($60/night). Located in a convenient spot a short 5min walk from Shimbashi station. Amenities meet the standard of a Japanese capsule hotel. The dorms are clean, the beds are comfy, and it even comes with a charging cable fit with a variety of ports. Since there are no private showers, you will have to take a public bath on the 8th floor. Fortunately, the facilities are great and they even have a mist sauna room! Then on the 9th floor you can access a CoWorking space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I’m in the area! ⭐️
