3rd Street Cafe 清澄白河 — Restaurant in Tokyo

The line at the nearby coffee shop were very long, so I searched for a nearby alternative and came across this very lovely café! I ordered iced jasmine tea and a carrot cake cupcake, both were delicious and the service was fantastic! The employees were very patient with me as I tried to use my limited Japanese to order. The restaurant itself has a very calming and charming aesthetic. I am very happy I found this place! Oh and they have gluten free baked...

Delicious muffin, cake, tea, and coffee. The atmosphere is quite nice. I loved the bricks, fireplace (which actually warms), music and Christmas tree. They also serve Egg Benedict and focaccia plate, if you want breakfast, brunch or lunch. Orange blossom tea is amazing. Bitter latte is for strong coffee lovers. Sakura matcha cake is very cute, and orange apple muffin tastes...

雰囲気GOOD レジで先に注文と会計をするタイプ。 並んで注文。

注文する方が、レジで悩んでいる間は、まったく、進まず。後ろにも、すでに数組。 自分の番が来た時には、あれも、これも、すでにソールド・アウト。

売り切れだらけだけど、店内飲食の為には 「１フード＋１ドリンク」のオーダーをするように、となっている。

頼もうと、渡されたメニューBOOKから「名前」を言っても、「そちらは売り切れです。」の連続。

食べたいものの、選択肢がこんなになくても？！１フード＋１ドリンク？？？？

後ろに並んでいる人が、何人もいるから…と、 取り敢えず、「有る」ものを、頼む。

札をもらって、テーブルで待つ。

先に頼んでいた、友人の料理がサーブされた時に、ウェイターさんが、私に渡された札をさげようとするので、「まだ、料理がきていません。」と、告げる。

しばらくして、ドリンクが運ばれて来たわけでもなく、遅れてることへの対応でもなく…、

「何を頼みましたか？」

「レシートを見せてくれますか？」

…？？？？？

なんで、把握できてないんだろう。

また、しばらく待たされて

「確認が取れました。」

…？？？？？

料金設定と、サービス、対応が、 見合っていないな…と言うのが、本日の印象。

当然、友人は、先に食べ終わってしまいました…。
